This is a lovely and original example of a very rare and sought after military issued watch. The Lemania single-pusher chronographs are always nice watches to have in one’s collection, but this models are particularly attractive. The ‘non-luminous’ example, as here, was produced at a time when nuclear Submarines came into use and it was crucial that radiation sources such as luminous watch dials were kept away from the geiger counters onboard and on the naval bases. As such, the dial and hands are painted in plain black on white and retain a crispness that makes them truly eye-catching on the wrist. this watch has recently had a complete clean and service by a specialist military watch expert.
